Privacy policy
Effective 12 October 2026. This explains what Stockpile stores about you and your shop, why, who else handles it, and how you can delete it. It is written to match what the service actually does today.
Who we are
Stockpile is operated by Dataharmoni, B13, New Delhi, India ("we"). Contact for anything privacy related: hello@dataharmoni.com.
What we store
- Your account: name, email address and a hashed password.
- Financial rows from the Etsy files you upload (orders, order items, monthly statement): order numbers, dates, currency, amounts, fees, item titles, SKUs, quantities and the fee descriptions Etsy writes on your statement.
- A pseudonymous buyer key: for each order, a one-way hash of Etsy's buyer ID (a number, not a name), so we can count how many of your buyers come back. It cannot be turned back into a person without your Etsy account, and it differs for every seller. We show counts and totals only, never a list of buyers.
- Things you enter: product costs, stock quantities, reorder and alert settings.
- If you connect an Etsy shop: the shop name, listings and stock levels, and the access tokens Etsy issues, which we store encrypted.
- Basic technical data: a session cookie and a security (CSRF) cookie, plus ordinary server logs (IP address, time, page) kept by our hosting provider and error logs.
What we deliberately do not store
- Your buyers' names, addresses, email addresses or phone numbers. Etsy's order files contain them; we read only the columns listed above and discard the rest while the file is processed.
- The uploaded files themselves. A file is held temporarily while you review it (at most 24 hours if you leave without importing) and is deleted as soon as you import or cancel.
- Payment card details. We do not take payments at the moment.
Why we use it
To calculate profit, fees, stock and forecasts for you, to keep your account secure, to send the emails you ask for (email verification, password reset, low-stock digests) and to keep the service running. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train models.
Who else handles it
- Hostinger hosts the application and its database and sends our email.
- Etsy receives data only if you connect your shop through Etsy's own sign-in; uploading files sends nothing to Etsy.
- If we start charging for plans, a payment provider will process payments and we will update this page first.
We disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as you keep the account. You can delete your Etsy data at any time from Etsy reports (the "Delete my Etsy data" section), which removes orders, items, fee rows and import history from our database straight away. To delete the whole account, email us and we will do it. Database backups, if any, roll off within 1 year.
Your rights
You can see your data in the app, download tables as CSV (Orders, Products and Profit each have an Export button), correct what you entered, and delete it as above. Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU or UK GDPR, or US state laws) you may have further rights; write to us and we will respond. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, passwords are hashed, Etsy tokens are encrypted and each account can only see its own data. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you suspect a problem.
Children
Stockpile is for people running a shop and is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app or by email before it takes effect.
